The Seven Series:
A Tutorial on the Classical Language of Architecture. The seven lectures will address language, syntax, geometries, proportion, and sustainability. There will be simple hands-on instruction in drawing the orders and evaluating proportion. The lead instructor will be Eric Stengel. Mr. Stengel is a practicing architect (his firm is Eric Stengel Architecture) in the language of classical arts and architecture. He earned a Master of Architecture from Harvard University and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Parsons School of Design in Manhattan. He also received decorative arts training at the Musée du Louvre in Paris and he holds the Certificate in Classical Architecture from the Institute of Classical Architecture & Classical America.
